From time to time, AIM offers a one-day retreat experience called a Day of Spiritual Renewal. These retreats are usually held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton, Florida.
A Day of Spiritual renewal took place on Feb. 22, 2025, focusing on the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Father Kevin McQuone of St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary presided over the day.
The day included Mass, song and prayer, two spiritual talks by Father Kevin followed by table discussions, and lunch and a light breakfast.

AIM's next Day of Spiritual Renewal is anticipated to take place in 2026.
AIM's Day of Spiritual Renewal was held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 370 SW Third St., Boca Raton, Florida on Feb. 22, 2025.
This AIM retreat offers a welcoming and safe environment for participants to celebrate and explore their faith.
Light breakfast items and a lunch will be provided.
Holy Mass will be celebrated and if requested, arrangements can be made to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation
The day will be filled with spiritual talks, discussions, prayer and song.

The retreats are open to adults ages 18 and older with physical challenges and others who may have mobility issues due to aging. Each participant will be paired with a volunteer who will assist them during the retreat and share the spiritual experience with them. A nurse will also be present at the retreat.

AIM will try to work with you to help arrange transportation through PalmTran or by other means. If anyone needs financial assistance to cover transportation to a retreat, AIM will provide reimbursement for pre-approved ground transportation expenses within South Florida. The AIM team will try to be flexible to accommodate as many people as would like to attend.
While AIM retreats are based on Catholic beliefs and practices, they are open to people of all faiths who have a physical disability. Unfortunately, we are not equipped to serve adults with severe medical conditions, intellectual disabilities or mental illness.

AIM team member Denise Elia and retreatant Michael Adler took on the duties of Masters of Ceremonies at the 2025 Day of Spiritual Renewal. They introduced the various segments of the program. They were inspirational and created a joyful and caring atmosphere that was most welcoming to all the participants.
Retreatant Rachel was lector at Mass during the 2025 Day of Spiritual Renewal. Rachel, one of AIM's newer retreatants, has also been appreciated for her invaluable insights during retreat discussions.
