Join us in living life with hope and joy,
knowing that God can transform our lives
no matter the challenges we face
For nearly 50 years, the AIM Ministry has brought adults together in South Florida for fully supported, fully accessible retreats. Whether you are navigating lifelong physical challenges or the changing mobility of aging, there is a place here built just for you.
2. Day of Spiritual Renewal: One-day retreat held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton, Florida.
3. Virtual mini-retreat: 1.5-hour Saturday afternoon get-together held via Zoom.
Cost: All retreats are free of charge. That includes all meals (weekend and one-day retreats) and lodging (weekend retreats).
Transportation: Available (arranged to suit your needs).
Support: Every guest is paired 1-on-1 with a volunteer "buddy" for companionship and assistance. A nurse and aides are on site during both the weekend and one-day retreats.
If you've got questions about our weekend retreats, the below links may help:
You may wonder: How can AIM offer this retreat at no charge to participants?
The entire costs of our recent retreats were graciously covered through generous donations
from the St. Joan of Arc Knights of Columbus and from the Notre Dame Club of Boca Raton.
The AIM ministry has been truly blessed by these gifts and is thankful for the generosity of these organizations.
We would also like to share the joy of our retreats with individuals who have not experienced such an event before. If you know of someone who would benefit from this experience, please let them know or contact Margarita at 954-821-6077 so that she can reach out to them.
AIM respects your privacy, but we do need a way of getting in touch with you. When you send this to us, we will only use it so a member of our ministry team can give you a zero-pressure call to answer your questions. If you would prefer to reach out to us directly, you can call our ministry leader, Margarita Castellon, at 954-821-6077. She would love to hear from you.
AIM retreats inspire and motivate participants to lead more joyful and meaningful lives,
helping them achieve spiritual growth and a closer relationship with a loving God.

We are Christ-centered volunteers providing accessible spiritual retreats to individuals who find it difficult to participate in standard religious retreats because of their physical challenges. We meet Diocese of Palm Beach screening requirements for working with vulnerable adults.
AIM provides annual overnight weekend retreats in South Florida. Our last weekend retreat was in May 2026 at the Duncan Center in Delray Beach. Participants are adults (ages 18 and above) who need varying levels of assistance in their daily lives, but who would enjoy the opportunity to participate in a retreat. We have one-on-one volunteers who take part in the retreat with you while providing whatever assistance you might need. If you haven't been to an AIM retreat before and think you may be interested, please call Margarita Castellon, 954-821-6077, so she can walk you through the details. All retreat expenses are covered by AIM's generous donors.
Every few months, AIM holds a 1 1/2-hour online mini retreat open to all. Each mini retreat includes community building, prayers, songs, and talks given by a Catholic priest based on Biblical passages. Check back for more information on our next mini retreat. The retreat will include two spiritual talks and discussions. There will also be music and prayer.
From time to time, AIM offers a one-day, in-person retreat at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton. The one-day retreats start in the morning and go until mid-afternoon. Our most recent Day of Spiritual Renewal was held in February 2026. Father Kevin McQuone from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary delivered two spiritual talks. The day also included Mass, table discussions, lunch, singing and more. AIM's next Day of Spiritual Renewal is anticipated to take place in 2027.

While AIM retreats are based on Catholic beliefs and practices, they are open to people of all faiths who may need some level of assistance to participate in a retreat. Unfortunately, we are not equipped to serve adults with severe medical conditions, intellectual disabilities or mental illness.
AIM is an outreach ministry of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton, Florida. For more information about AIM, or to receive email alerts about future retreats, call or send an email.
